Christian Moreno has worked in the aviation industry for over 36 years, taking various roles within the airport community, on which the last 20 years has worked for Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) in progressively responsible supervisory and management positions that has required him to interact with a wide variety of audiences and constituents. His work experience covers large hub commercial airports (LAX), medium hub joint-use airports (PDX), and a general aviation reliever airport (VNY),

Mr. Moreno currently manages both Operations and Maintenance divisions at the Van Nuys Airport, one of the busiest general aviation airports in the world, totaling over 329,000 operations in 2023. He is the former Tom Bradley International Terminal Manager at LAX which was part of the largest public works project in the history of the City of Los Angeles. He provides an increased support of the airport and of airport operations during emergencies and other incidents including maintaining and operating the airport facilities safely and efficiently.

Prior to joining LAWA, Mr. Moreno worked 13 years with a major international carrier as Manager of Flight Operations at LAX and three years working for the Port of Portland as Airport Operations Supervisor at Portland International Airport (PDX).

Mr. Moreno holds an FAA Private Pilot, IFR rated certificate and holds an FAA Aircraft Dispatchers License.
