Each member airport’s dues include unlimited individual memberships, allowing broad participation within their organization. Dues are paid annually and categorized based on airport size and type, with options for corporate and association members as well.

Membership Types

Basic GA


Grants access to ACA member-only content, including documents, updates, and meeting minutes, for small general aviation airports.

Price: $125.00 per year

Association


Provides access to ACA member-only content, including documents, updates, and meeting minutes, for industry associations supporting aviation and airport operations. Price is per person.

Price: $150.00 per year

Local GA


Provides access to ACA member-only content, including documents, updates, and meeting minutes, for general aviation airports with a local focus.

Price: $225.00 per year

Corporate


Grants access to ACA member-only content, including documents, updates, and meeting minutes, with group discounts available. Price is per person.

Price: $225.00 per year

Regional GA


Grants access to ACA member-only content, including documents, updates, and meeting minutes, for general aviation airports serving a wider region.

National GA


Provides access to ACA member-only content, including documents, updates, and meeting minutes, for general aviation airports with a national presence.

Non-Hub

Small Hub

Medium Hub

We are committed to building a diverse membership that includes all airports in the State, taking advantage of the expertise and human resources available from participating airports. Membership is open to a wide range of aviation professionals and stakeholders, including:

  • General Aviation Airport Managers and Staff.
  • City Managers.
  • Public Works Directors.
  • Airport Land Use Commission Members.
  • Owners of private airports.
  • Associations that promote the aviation industry.
  • Airport consultants, engineering firms, and airport-based businesses.
  • Students studying aviation (must provide proof of enrollment).

General

Open to persons exercising active responsibility for the management, general supervision, or administration of a California airport, and who is engaged in such activity as part of their employment or ownership. A General Member may retain this designation through the end of the year for which he or she has paid dues even though he or she has discontinued working at the job that qualified them.

Corporate

Open to both for profit and non-profit corporations who are engaged in activities relating to the use and promotion of airports, aviation, or products that are used in airport and aviation activities.

Associate

Open to any person that is interested in and subscribes to the purpose of the Association of California Airports. The Associate Director represents the Associate members at the Board of Directors’ meetings.

Student

Open to any individuals  who are engaged in the study of airport development, administration, management, or operation or in any related field of aviation (except those representing a school), or a full-time student as defined by the institution in which they are enrolled.

Honorary

Membership shall be conferred by action of the membership of the Corporation at large, to those individuals specifically recognized for their outstanding dedication and achievement in the field of airport development, management, operations or any related field of aviation.  The Board of Directors must approve nominations prior to action by the membership.

General Member Emeritus

Membership shall be a former General Member who has served the Corporation and the aviation industry with distinction and who has retired from active airport management. The Board of Directors must approve the membership designation for those recommended for this category.
